Unlike many other home and garden blogs, we’re committed to publishing high-quality, original content. You don’t need a degree in horticulture or interior design to contribute, but we’re not looking for 500 words of reworded tips pulled from other sites just to earn a backlink.

That said, guest posting on a respected home and garden site can be a win-win: you’ll reach a new audience, earn a byline that builds your credibility, and gain a high-value, relevant backlink to your own site.

What We’re Looking For

We’re specifically interested in thoughtful, well-researched home and garden guest posts that offer practical, detailed, and creative solutions to common indoor and outdoor challenges. Whether it’s helping readers choose the right plants for their climate, design a functional outdoor space, decorate their home beautifully, or improve their garden’s health—we want content that’s genuinely helpful, informative, and engaging.

Here are some general guidelines on writing for us:

  • At least 1,000 words of high quality and unique content.
  • 1 do-follow link allowed to your site in the article to resources, blogs, educational content, etc.
  • All links from external resources must be cited. If you include statistics or material sourced from a site other than your own, they must be linked to the original content.
  • Non-promotional, i.e. no product, service, or demo mentions
  • No syndicated, copied, or plagiarized content from your blog or someone else’s
  • No pitches on topics we’ve already covered (please look through our content before pitching)
