Unlike a lot of other home and garden blogs on the web, we’re committed to high quality content. You don’t have to have to have PhD in home renovation or interior design to contribute, but we’re not looking for 500 words of paraphrased content you found elsewhere so you can cram in a link.

- Include at least one first-person or case-study element where possible — original photos, quotes from contractors, before-and-after examples
- Product recommendations should focus on categories and specs, not specific brand endorsements

What’s the difference between the Home Renovation and Home Improvement guest post pages?
Home renovation focuses on structural, large-scale, and full-room projects — anything that changes the underlying layout, systems, or major surfaces. Home improvement covers smaller upgrades, repairs, and enhancements that don’t require permits or major disruption. How long should a renovation guest post be?
Minimum 1,000 words, but renovation topics generally benefit from more depth — 1,500 to 2,500 words is our sweet spot. If a topic can be covered thoroughly in 1,000 words, that’s fine; padded content is rejected.
Can I include photos of my own project?
Yes, and we strongly prefer original photography. Ensure images are yours or clearly licensed for commercial use, ideally in landscape orientation and at least 1,200 pixels wide.
Do you accept pitches from contractors and industry professionals?
Yes — expertise from working professionals is welcome. Note that the content still cannot promote your specific business. Your author bio and byline give you visibility; the article itself must serve the reader first.
How quickly will I hear back?
Five business days for pitch response, two weeks for draft turnaround after acceptance, one to two weeks from draft to publish.
